The glorious noise that is Sonic Youth engulfs the Bandshell in a free show that promises to be one of the summer’s highlights. The No Wave pioneers have contributed as much over the last three decades as any band to the rise of alternative rock, and their sway over the current indie scene cannot be overestimated.
