Event Info

This event is sold out. You must have an RSVP ticket for entry. Ballroom seating is first come, first served, and upon reaching capacity attendees will be invited to watch a livestream on BRIC House’s indoor Stoop.

Can’t make it in-person? Catch it livestreamed on BRIC’s Instagram, BRIC TV or Brooklyn Free Speech HD from 7:00-8:30pm.

Join us for a vital conversation about the future of culture and arts in New York City, bringing together mayoral candidates to share their visions, strategies, and commitments to the cultural life of our city.

This engaging evening will provide attendees with a unique opportunity to hear directly from the candidates on how they plan to support, sustain, and uplift the arts and culture sector as a cornerstone of NYC’s identity and economy and the social well-being of New Yorkers.

Speakers include Fmr. Assemblyman Michael Blake, Comptroller Brad Lander, Assembly Member Zohran Mamdani, Senator Jessica Ramos, Fmr. Comptroller Scott Stringer, Senator Zellnor Myrie, and Whitney Tilson. The forum will be moderated by Angela Yee.

The event is produced by BRIC in collaboration with NY4CA and the Culture and Arts Policy Institute.

This event is made possible in part by the contributions of the Mayoral Forum Host Committee.
