BRIC Rotunda Gallery

BRIC Rotunda Gallery - Interior
BRIC Rotunda Gallery, 33 Clinton Street. Designed by architects Smith-Miller + Hawkinson

Founded in 1981, BRIC Rotunda Gallery began in the Rotunda of Brooklyn Borough Hall before moving to the War Memorial at Cadman Plaza.

In 1993, the current location at 33 Clinton Street opened in a new gallery space designed by architects Smith-Miller + Hawkinson. Cited by the NYC Chapter of the AIA for its outstanding design, the 1,600 square-foot gallery is a flexible space with moveable walls, a catwalk and a Project Room.

In 2007, Architects Henry Smith-Miller and Laurie Hawkinson were honored for their work in support of BRIC’s contemporary art program.
