Brooklyn, NY (January 30, 2025) BRICannounces a one-of-a-kind evening of art and music with Sleep Lite Dream Heavy, featuring the debut photography exhibition and DJ performance by Isaac “MORESOUPPLEASE” Campbell on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 10 PM to 2 AM at BRIC House, 647 Fulton Street Brooklyn, New York. The Culture LP is the media sponsor for the House Party series.

The event marks the latest installment of BRIC House Party, an innovative series that reimagines the relationship between DJs and their audience. The evening features Campbell’s striking photography collection, complemented by live DJ sets from Mike Medium, Quiana Parks, and Campbell’s DJ persona MORESOUPPLEASE.

Campbell states, “I’m thrilled to curate and present my debut photography exhibition, Sleep Lite, Dream Heavy. This marks the first time I am showcasing multiple photographic works side by side, while also presenting myself as a multidisciplinary artist—combining my photography with DJ-curated musical sets. I’m deeply grateful to BRIC for giving me this incredible opportunity.

Hailing from Newark, New Jersey, and raised in Mount Vernon, New York, Campbell has spent over a decade honing his photographic vision, and now, for the first time, presents his work to the public. This debut exhibition showcases a meticulously curated collection spanning his 11-year artistic journey, capturing moments at the intersection of music, sports, art, and culture through a multifaceted lens that examines the human experience.

Deron Johnston, BRIC’s Chief Program Officer states, “Isaac ‘Soup’ Campbell exemplifies the multifaceted creativity that BRIC House Party is proud to elevate. A dynamic DJ whose energy and talent captivate the dance floor, Campbell has also spent years crafting compelling visual narratives through his photography. Yet, his success as a DJ has often overshadowed his remarkable gifts behind the camera. With Sleep Lite, Dream Heavy, we honor his dual artistry, celebrating the depth and diversity of creative expression that BRIC House Party is committed to showcasing.

The historic evening brings together Campbell’s inaugural photography exhibition exploring themes of belief and self-actualization. BRIC’s gallery space will be transformed through curated visual installations and ambient lighting, creating an immersive soundscape where visitors are encouraged to connect, reflect, and participate in the artist’s creative process.

BRIC House Party: Sleep Lite Dream Heavy represents Campbell’s debut as a visual artist and is a bold step in contemporary art presentation, offering attendees a multisensory journey that highlights his unique ability to merge visual and auditory art forms. Each photograph in this first exhibition initiates a dialogue around vulnerability, inviting audiences to engage with the often unseen emotional landscapes of his subjects. The house party vibe acts not only as a sonic complement to his visual work but also as a demonstration of his mastery in creating communal experiences through music.

This groundbreaking debut presentation demonstrates BRIC’s ongoing commitment to supporting emerging artists as they present their first major works, speaking not only to art and community-based photography collectors but to anyone who understands the importance of dreaming without limits.
