Family Awesomeness Day

Event Info

A drop in workshop for children and families to enjoy making their own puzzles led by Putrice Thomas of Cocoa Puzzles in celebration of Autism Awareness Month. We invite families to engage, share, and express themselves through art and storytelling. Each family will learn how to design a puzzle piece that represents their joy, uniqueness, and bravery. This event is intended for families with children on the autism spectrum, but all are invited.

BRIC’s Community Engagement programs are supported by the Eisner Foundation; the Ford Foundation; the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council with special thanks to Council Member Crystal Hudson; the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature.
