Here’s your opportunity to join BRIC’s Teen Filmmaking Bootcamp!
Learn all aspects of the filmmaking process, from pre-production ideation to filming in our Emmy-winning studios, to post-production editing. Over the course of eight sessions, you will learn skills in pre-production, field production, and video editing. This is also a certification course, which will allow you to check out equipment from us to use to create your own project. Please note that this program is designed for high schoolers 14-19 years old and includes a $200 stipend upon successful completion of the program. When you complete the program, you will be joining a vibrant community of producers and artists, and will be eligible for other paid work opportunities.

Monday–Thursday, August 11 to 21 from 11am–2pm, (makeup session Friday, August 22)

Please note ALL sessions of this program will take place in-person at BRIC House located at 647 Fulton street Brooklyn, NY 11027

Stipend:
This class comes with a $200 stipend. Attendance to each class is mandatory to receiving the stipend at the end of the bootcamp.
BRIC prioritizes high school students from historically underserved backgrounds with limited access to certain educational opportunities. We especially welcome applications from women and individuals who identify with groups historically excluded from media and visual arts careers, such as Black, Latino/a, LGBTQ+, and Neurodiverse communities.
