TERAPIA is bringing its deep-rooted, communal energy to BRIC House Party! Born in 2022, the collective channels the spirit of verbenas in the Caribbean region of Colombia – open-air celebrations where music, movement, and togetherness are inseparable. Expect room-filling sound inspired by the iconic picós (giant painted soundsystems), pulling from champeta, soukous, salsa, cumbia, charanga, pachanga, and beyond. This is global music not as a playlist, but as a living, breathing experience meant to move bodies and open space.
More than a party, TERAPIA creates a ritual. It’s a place where ancestral rhythms resurface, stories pass between generations, and joy becomes an act of presence and resilience. At BRIC House, TERAPIA invites you into a shared moment: one rooted in identity, collective memory, and the simple, powerful act of coming together on the dance floor.

BRIC House Party builds on BRIC’s longstanding commitment to empowering the communities of Brooklyn. By handing the reins to local DJs and collectives, we create a platform for diverse voices and artistic visions, ensuring everyone has a space to gather and immerse themselves in music-forward experiences.
This spring, BRIC House Party will focus on radical joy. The series will be hosted by four artist collectives who create opportunities for collective celebration as a form of resistance. This focus on collectives reflects BRIC’s commitment to community joy in 2026.
