In the daring, innovative performance laboratory, Media Art Xploration (MAX) dares to reveal the invisible structures surrounding us, rendering them visible. This November, MAX x BRIC Arts present works that act as instruments to detect the hidden. From gestures in choreography to systems that govern our universe, we translate the complicated into tangible, sensory encounters.
Guiding the forefronts of our exploration will be fearless multidisciplinary artists: SUUVI (Creative Technologist, Performer), Peter Chu (Choreographer), Matthew Jamal (Composer, Musician), Kay Matschullat (Production Designer), and a circus-inspired work produced in partnership with 3AM Theater. We challenge audiences to witness, question, and inhabit the imperceptible.
