BRIC RECEIVES NINE
NEW YORK EMMY® AWARD NOMINATIONS
BRIC, a leading arts and media institution committed to building Brooklyn’s creative future, is pleased to announce that its three community media initiatives—BRIC TV, Brooklyn Free Speech TV, and studio BK—received nine nominations for the 2023 New York Emmy® Awards. The nominations include four for BRIC TV, Brooklyn’s premier nonprofit video producer of hyperlocal news and social justice reporting, featuring content produced by BRIC, four for Brooklyn Free Speech TV, a community-driven nonprofit TV and podcast network featuring content produced by the Brooklyn community, and one for studio BK, BRIC’s Digital Content Agency that works with brands and organizations to develop, deliver, and distribute effective content.
Since 2014, BRIC’s three community media initiatives – BRIC TV, Brooklyn Free Speech TV, and studio BK – have won 14 New York Emmy® Awards and received 66 nominations.
We’re rooting for our talented nominees and will be watching the 66th Annual New York Emmy® Awards live on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square.
