It could only be described as alchemy

Dear BRIC community,

I hope this letter finds you and yours well. It’s been an incredible year of growth, opportunity, challenge, and change at BRIC and all across our city. I’d like to thank you for being a partner with us every step of the way, and for the role you play in building Brooklyn’s creative future.

Since I began my tenure as BRIC’s president in July, I’ve been blown away by the diverse work of artists, media makers, and staff all across the BRIC community. From media and performing arts to contemporary art and education, BRIC’s work has the magic of alchemy.

As an invaluable member of our BRIC community, you are a part of the magic. Today I’m reaching out to ask for your gift  before December 31st to support the magic in 2023.

BRIC transforms artists and their work. You can show up at BRIC as a violinist and leave as a documentary filmmaker. You can arrive to pitch an idea for a podcast and become a new fan of an emerging artist. You can start taking classes as a media student and evolve into a staff member at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! At BRIC, the possibilities are endless.

That work – that alchemy – is only possible with your support. Before the clock strikes midnight on December 31st, consider making a gift to BRIC. Your tax-deductible gift transforms the lives of BRIC’s artists, media makers, and staff who are shaping the creative future of Brooklyn and beyond.

Thank you for all that you do for BRIC. I can’t wait to create some magic with you in the new year!

Wes Jackson

P.S. A gift to BRIC means you are a Member with benefits all year long. See our membership levels here to pick the benefits that are right for you.
