BRIC TV is accepting pitches for scripted short films and pilots to be produced with funding made possible by the National Endowment for the Arts. Four projects will receive support for production/post-production, and airing on BRIC’s noncommercial web and cable television platforms. Two short films will be awarded $15,000 each, and two pilots will receive $7,500 each.
Pitches must include an itemized project budget and a pitch deck with a film synopsis, cast and crew information, links to past work, and other details that may be relevant.
Note: BRIC programs are community-centric. We will also select one project that highlights the history of New York City in relation to the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, as part of the NEA’s Celebrating America250 program.
Project production timelines should allow for delivery of a final cut by October 31, 2026. Submissions must be received by Friday, April 10, 2026 to [email protected], email subject line, “2026 BRIC NEA Pitch/name of project.”
