La Newyorkina
La Newyorkina is a Latin-woman owned ice pop, ice cream and sweets company founded in 2010 by Mexico City native and James Beard nominated pastry Chef Fany Gerson. They’re best known for their many flavors of paletas (popsicles), featuring local organic dairy, seasonal fruits and herbs; as well as high quality imported ingredients that don’t grow around New York, including Mexican vanilla beans, Oaxacan chocolate, tamarind, dried chiles, passion fruit and hibiscus.
Paper Plate
Paper Plate makes food that “Tastes Like Home,” featuring nostalgic burgers, crinkle fries, milk shakes and fried chicken. Beyond mobile operations, they also have brick and mortar locations in Long Island City and Deer Park.
Toastieland
Toastieland is not just a culinary destination; it’s a vibrant journey that bridges the lively flavors with the fresh, local ethos of Australia. Founded by a Trinidadian chef with an affinity for Australian cuisine, Toastieland is a celebration of food as a universal language, connecting cultures and tastebuds.
