Course Overview:
Calling all aspiring filmmakers, podcasters, and influencers! This exciting workshop series is designed to equip youth with the skills to create their own digital content using just their smartphones. Learn how to craft engaging stories, produce high-quality videos and podcasts, and build your personal brand on social media. Whether you want to express your creativity, make a difference, or build an online following, this course is for you.
What You’ll Learn:
- Introduction / Orientation: Get started with an overview of the digital storytelling process.
- Make a Digital Story: Combine text, images, and audio to create a compelling narrative.
- Make a Movie on Your Phone: Learn filming techniques, storyboarding, and editing—all on your phone.
- Make a Podcast on Your Phone: Record, edit, and produce your very own podcast.
- Phone Photography: Capture striking photos and learn basic editing tips for your social media feed.
- Social Media Marketing: Learn strategies for building an online following and growing your personal brand.
