Dear Valued members of the BRIC Producing Community,

“It was all a dream,” thinking back to 1988 when Brooklyn Free Speech TV (BCAT) was founded. We had this big dream of creating a space where people from all across the borough could share their stories with their neighbors. We’d like to honor you for your work, and for making that dream come true.

Without you, your talent, your creativity, and your voice BRIC Media Education, Brooklyn Free Speech TV, and Brooklyn Free Speech Radio wouldn’t be celebrating 35 years as a creative hub for artists all across the globe.

BRIC President Wes Jackson, BRIC’s Chief Program Officer Deron Johnston, and I would like to formally invite you and yours to our 16th Annual Smile for the Holidays Community Producer Holiday Party on Friday, December 15, 2023, 6-9PM at BRIC House.

Light fare will be served and you will get to meet and hear directly from Wes, Deron, and me.

To ensure that we’re keeping with our Smile for the Holidays theme, we are very proud to be partnering with Utica Plantains to bring you a fun game night featuring musical chairs, classic games, and music from DJ ForTunes.
