Exhibition Info
BRIC presents a special exhibition of films from the 2024–25 BRIClab Video Art Residency, on view in the BRIC House Project Room from January 27 through May 16, 2026. Showcasing works-in-progress by seven New York City-based artists, the exhibition offers an intimate look at daring new voices exploring video and audio as distinct, interdisciplinary mediums.
Residents developed their projects through free courses at BRIC House, 80 hours of studio and editing access, a stipend, one-on-one production support, and guidance from peer advisors and BRIC curatorial staff. Within a collaborative cohort, they shared critiques, workshops, and community-building gatherings, while tapping BRIC’s cameras, studios, and professional mentorship. The resulting films push form, narrative, and community relevance, reflecting Brooklyn’s diverse audiences.
