From the BRIClab: Works from the 2025-26 Artist Residencies

This fall, BRIC will present an exhibition featuring new work by the 2025–2026 BRIClab Contemporary Art and Video Art artists-in-residence. Developed, seeded, or significantly expanded during their residencies, the exhibition highlights what becomes possible when artists are given sustained time, space, resources, and freedom to experiment.

Working across painting, installation, photography, textiles, and video, the artists respond to the social, political, and environmental conditions of the present through explorations of identity, power, memory, migration, technology, ecology, and cultural history. Their work reconsiders the systems and narratives that shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us, asking whose stories are told, whose histories are remembered, and what might be imagined otherwise.

Together, the exhibition reflects the possibilities of artistic practice when artists have the time and support to take risks, develop new ideas, and respond meaningfully to the moment in which they are living.

Participating artists: Amadi Williams, Aika Akhmetova, Brandon Follick, Camila Galaz, Dr. Evilletown, Ghazal Ghazi, Juan “Wamoo” Alvarez, Leo Pontius, Mauricio Delfín, Nate Dorr, and Yolanda Hoskey.

Docent led tours will occur on select Saturdays.
