BRIC Is the Amplifier

People throughout New York City and far beyond count on BRIC for exceptional classes, content, and culture. When you support us, you’re strengthening communities at the center of that work.

Donate today to help BRIC amplify arts, media, and education in 2026.

Who turns to BRIC? New Yorkers building careers in the arts or media. Older adults and students in search of new ways to tell their stories. Audiences seeking vanguard culture without gatekeepers or barriers. Creative voices in need of media access, an exhibition platform, or simply a spotlight and a mic, because BRIC is the amplifier.

BRIC is a premier nonprofit media producer, arts presenter, and educator. We collaborate with innovators and change agents. We partner with underserved communities whose contributions to New York City are vital but whose stories too often go untold. We’ve done this work for almost 50 years. And we’re about to turn it up. Donate today.

BRIC Amplifies Brooklyn Love Stories

BRIC Members Ivan Katz and Pilar Newton-Katz have attended BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! for thirty years, thrilled at how it brings people together for music, culture, and community.

If you treasure BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! – the longest-running, free summer outdoor music and performance series in New York City – or value BRIC’s media classes, art exhibitions, Emmy-award-winning BRIC TV, and more, support our work with a donation today.

BRIC Inspires the Next Leaders

Anika, Jayden, Savion, Subhah, and Valentine are high school students who gained vital new skills in curating, media production, and filmmaking as BRIC Youth Fellows. They also made big personal discoveries along the way: that their ideas are invaluable and their dreams are achievable.

If you believe in our work with young people – the budding artists, thinkers, and doers who will shape the culture – donate today to help BRIC amplify arts, media, and new leaders in 2026.

Celebrate a Historic Milestone for BRIC

On September 30, 2025, BRIC made history as the first media organization to join New York City’s prestigious Cultural Institutions Group (CIG). This landmark designation by city leaders recognizes BRIC’s transformative impact on New York’s cultural landscape.

Thank you for your continued support. BRIC is the Amplifier, and your donations strengthen communities at the center of our work.

Empower Artists Who Transform the Culture

As a 2023 BRIClab Artist-In-Residence, Tatiana Florival found at BRIC the training and support she needed to create her first film. She’s been part of our community ever since. As a 2025 featured artist in the BRIC Contemporary Arts Program, Sarah K. Khan has treasured BRIC House as an active place for culture and creativity.

If you believe in our work to support change-making artists, please donate today to help BRIC amplify arts, media, and education in 2026.

Support the Storytelling that Enriches Lives

2023 BRIClab Artist-In-Residence Andrew Nadkarni came to BRIC in search of a filmmaking program that offered community, logistical support, and an ongoing network. Astrudge McLean started as a BRIC Community Media producer looking for new ways to tell stories about people whose voices too often go unheard.

We’re honored to train and support scores of local mediamakers because the stories they tell enrich people’s lives. If you believe in our work with digital storytellers, or value our education programs, contemporary art exhibitions, and more, please donate today.
