Brooklyn is... Brooklyn Independent Television
Launched by BRIC in 2006, Brooklyn Independent Television (BIT) is the only television programming devoted to the borough of Brooklyn. Composed of more than a dozen programs, BIT explores Brooklyn’s every corner; with coverage of issues including public affairs, arts and culture, health and sports, and business, and much more.
Brooklyn Independent Television's programs can be viewed every Monday-Friday from noon-3pm and from 8pm-11pm on the BCAT TV Network: Time Warner channel 56, Cablevision channel 69, RCN channel 84 and in all five boroughs on Verizon channel 44.
Segments as well as complete episodes can be viewed on our YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/bkindependent) and downloaded as video podcasts on iTunes. Facebook fans and Twitter users get an extra behind-the-scenes look at our productions and can weigh in on their favorite BIT features-- simply follow "bkindependenttv."
